Universal Pipeline was one of the largest piping and mechanical fabricator and installer in eastern Canada, active in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes. Mr Attia’s role covered the estimating and technical supervision, construction management, project administration and business development of industrial projects in diversified fields, representing an average annual volume of $50 million. Responsible for the successful execution of mega projects in the nuclear and hydroelectric generation, both in Quebec and the Maritime Provinces. In charge of the implementation of sound management practices in the procurement, the prefabrication and the installation of mechanical systems. Responsible also for the preparation and negotiation of requests for additional compensation. During his employment with Universal Pipeline, he participated in projects in the following fields:
